I am a graduate student at Robotic Institute, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University under the supervision of Prof. Srinivasa Narasimhan working in ILIM lab (part of larger Imaging Group at CMU). I was awarded Amazon Go PHD Fellowship for my graduate studies. If i am not constantly looking my monitor in office, you can probably find me at the closest badminton court.
My research theme lies in combining machine learning with 3D Computer Vision for improved perception of robots. We live in a dynamic world with constant change and sensing such variation will play a major role for computers to replicate human behaviour. While trying to achieve this goal, I was fortunate to have collaborated with Laurent Guigues, Leonid Pischulini at Amazon Go, with Minh Vo at Facebook Reality Labs, with Dr.Andreas Gieger at Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Sytems-Tubingen and Prof.K Madhava Krishna at IIIT-Hyderabad. Before joining the paper hungry research community, I was a carefree undergraduate at BITS-Pilani working on medical robots under the guidance of Prof. Suman Kapur.(unique page visits since sept 2020) .
